The “mastermind” behind the catastrophic Fyre Festival of 2017 is back in the spotlight. Despite serving four years in federal prison for fraud, McFarland is boldly announcing Fyre Festival II, scheduled for April 2025 on a private island near Mexico.
The thing is, he’s already sold hundreds of early bird tickets and has a 1 million dollar per person package.
Nobody knows the performers, features, or amenities.
If anything, you can argue the people who bought these early bird tickets are suckers for punishment or options traders buying the dip.
You might be thinking, “Is this guy serious?”
But let’s pause for a moment and consider the craziness of this move.
